Description

“Guajalito” Reserve counts on 425 hectares of primary and secondary forests. Located 48 km west of Quito, along the old highway via Quito-Santo Domingo.

This reserve has been witness to the discovery and rediscovery of dozens of species, besides being home to thousands of flora and fauna specimens.

Not only is it the percentage of primary forests and its elevated state of conservation, Wildlife Foundation bets on this area because it is also near 1000 hectares protected by non-governmental organization and inhabitants of the area.
