IMPOSSIBLE TO THINK OF FAUNA WITHOUT FLORA. ALTHOUGH WILDLIFE FOUNDATION STARTED THEIR ACTIVITIES DEDICATiNG THEMSELVES TO THE FAUNA OF ECUADOR.

Our member’s interests to care for flora precedes the work we’ve done with animals. We restart studies of botanical collections from the XVIII and XIX centuries and the importance these had for other cultures, and for science the description of hundreds of plants in each one of these locations around the country which were visited by the scientists of this time. In the capital city of Quito alone, about eighteen hundred plants existed, many of which still exist, and others that are endangered; a similar story transcends in every city of Ecuador.
